Cleaning Procedures Before First Use

Dear Customer, it's Rick here from Qi Aerista. Thank you very much for purchasing the Qi Aerista IoTea Brewer! 

Before your first brew with Qi Aerista, we advise a thorough first cleaning should be performed. Here is how to proceed.

STEPS TO CLEAN:

1. Remove the lid, infuser, and flow tube gently from the pot.
2. Wash the lid, infuser, flow tube and inside of the pot. NEVER immerse the Pot and Base in water.
3. Fill the pot with 2 to 3 cups of clean water.
4. Re-assemble the parts and place the pot on the Base.
5. Tap BREW to turn on brewer, select BLACK and tap BREW to brew.
6. After brewing ends, discard the hot water and wait for the brewer to cool down.
7. Repeat Steps 3-6 once more and you are all set to brew the Perfect Tea!
