This lightly oxidized oolong boasts a history dating back over 250 years ago in the Qing Dynasty. As its name implies, the fresh bud from this tea is whitish green. Orchid refers to the distinct orchid-like aroma of this tea.
White Bud Orchid, a translation from its Chinese name Baiya Qilan, is also the name of the tree cultivar.

Water: 1 cup (230mL/8oz)
Tea: 1 heaping teaspoon (2.5g/0.1oz)
Brewing Temp: 95oC/203oF
Brewing Time: 3 minutes. Re-steep for up to 3 times.
Tea notes: Re-steep for up to 2 times. For each re-steeping, add another 30 seconds to the previous steep time.
