Huangshan Maofeng is also known as Yellow Mountain Fur Peak in English, taking its name from the place of growing. The Yellow Mountain area is one of the famous tea growing regions for many well-known Chinese teas, including Keemun Black Tea, Taiping Houkui and Songluo.
