Dinggu Dafang is a flat shaped green tea from Anhui Province in central China. The appearance of this tea resembles that of Longjing (aka Dragonwell) from the neighbouring province of Zhejiang. The manufacturing process of Longjing may have taken inspirations from Dinggu Dafang as the history of the latter tea can be traced back to over 400 years ago.
As with many teas in China that have monastery connections, Dinggu Dafang was developed by a monk named Dafang. Tea has been a potent drink for monks to stay alert and calm their mind during their rigid daily studies.
Experience the chestnut-like aroma of this tea along with a smooth and refreshing mouthfeel, ending with a sweet note.
